City Hall is open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on regular business days.
Notes: On holidays, City Hall is open from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM and from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Note: Holiday hours are only for City Hall. Other services such as mail requests and convenience store issuance are available.

Request for Mailing of Tax Certificate and Non-Tax Certificate

When requesting a Taxation (Non-Taxation) Certificate by mail, please enclose the following four items and send them to the Taxation Division.
Destination
Postal Code 206-8601, Inagi City Hall, Taxation Division, Municipal Resident Tax Section (no address needed)

1 Application Form for Request by Mail

Please obtain the application form from the following application form download page. You may also fill out a letterhead or similar document following the example of the obtained mailed request application form.

2 Fixed Amount Postal Money Orders (for the number of requests)

Please purchase it at the post office as it is required as a fee.

  1. In the case of mailing, the fee for each certificate is 400 yen. Please be sure to enclose an amount equal to the number of requested copies, without any change.
  2. The validity period is 6 months from the date of issue. For administrative reasons, we kindly ask you to send a fixed amount postal money order that has 10 days or more remaining validity.
  3. Please send the fixed amount postal money order blank on both sides.

3. Reply envelope (an envelope with a postage stamp affixed, containing the applicant's current address and destination)

4 Copy of identification documents (for agents, identification documents of the agent)

5 Power of Attorney (When an Agent Applies)

A signature from the person being certified is required.
Note: If the application form is received when you are not a resident of Inagi City, a power of attorney is required even for cohabiting relatives.
Example: If two certificates are needed for a couple, two application forms and one power of attorney (from husband to wife, from wife to husband, etc.) are required.
