Request for non-acceptance

Non-acceptance notification is a system to prevent false family register notifications.
This is useful if you are worried that your identity will be falsified without your knowledge and your family register notification will be filed.
Note : The following handling applies after May 1, 2008 (enforcement date of the revised Family Register Act).
efficacy
- The family register notification of the applicant will no longer be accepted.
- If the family register notification is not accepted, the applicant will be notified that the notification has been rejected.
Note: The application will be accepted if it can be confirmed that the applicant has submitted the family register notification.
How to make an offer
Please submit the "Request for Non-acceptance Form" directly to the counter by the applicant .

Note: It is available at the Family Registration Department at the city, ward, town, or village office.

When it loses its effectiveness
- When withdrawn (submission of a letter of withdrawal of non-acceptance request)
- When the person dies
- When a notification regarding a request for non-acceptance that specifies the other party is legally accepted.
- When the person turns 15 years old if the legal representative has requested non-acceptance of an adoption notification or adoption divorce notification for the person under 15 years of age.
Note : Even if the person making the request submits a notification that does not specify the other party and the request is accepted after the applicant's identity has been verified, the effect of the request will not be nullified. .
Possible date and time for procedures
8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on business days Note: 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on public holidays. If the agency is open on holidays, only "deposit" will be accepted. Masu.
Note: The branch office does not accept notifications regarding family registers.
