Consultation Desk for Youth and Their Parents or Guardians "Waka Navi α" (Tokyo)

We offer consultations for young people aged 18 and over, as well as their families, who are dealing with vague worries such as interpersonal relationships, work-related issues, and general anxiety. Please feel free to reach out with any concerns.

Consultation Method

Telephone Consultation

We will keep the contents of your consultation confidential.
Consultations are free of charge. However, any call charges incurred will be the responsibility of the consultant.

Email Consultation

Membership registration is required for email consultations only. After registration, you can log in with your own password and consult through a dedicated form.
Consultations are accepted 24 hours a day.

We usually respond within 3 to 7 days, but depending on the content of the consultation and the level of congestion, it may take about 10 days to receive a reply.
The information you provide will not be used for any purpose other than consultation.
Responses will be sent via email from "Waka Navi α", so please add the domain "wakanavi-tokyo.net" to your allowed senders list before using it.

LINE Consultation

LINE consultation requires adding as a friend. The Tokyo Metropolitan Government's official "Consultation Hot LINE @ Tokyo" serves as the entry point for comprehensive youth consultation, Wakana Navi α.
If you reside outside the Tokyo area, please contact the consultation desk of your prefecture or municipality.
During busy times or outside of reception hours, if consultation is not possible, you will be guided through an automated response.

Interview Consultation

We will provide information about in-person consultations based on requests from the individual or their family, or at the discretion of the counselor during phone or email consultations.
This will be a consultation to understand your specific circumstances, organize the issues, and search for appropriate support organizations together with the consultant.
In-person consultations are by appointment only (closed on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and during the New Year period).
When making a reservation, we will confirm your real name, age, address (up to the city or town), and phone number.
The consultation room is located in Shinjuku. Details will be provided when you make a reservation.
If necessary, we can introduce you to suitable support organizations, and counselors from "Waka Navi α" can accompany you to the support organizations.
Consultations are free of charge. Transportation costs incurred for visiting will be the responsibility of the consultant.
