We provide support for costs related to tutoring and examination fees.

We support children from households with income below a certain level by providing loans for expenses such as tutoring and examination fees.

  1. Tuition Loan for Cram Schools, etc.
    We provide interest-free loans for the tuition fees necessary to prepare for entrance exams for high schools or universities, such as cram schools.
    Maximum amount: 200,000 yen for third-year junior high school students or equivalent, 200,000 yen for third-year high school students or equivalent.
  2. High School and University Examination Fee Loan
    Loans for examination fees for high school or university entrance exams are provided interest-free.
    Maximum amount: 27,400 yen for high school entrance exams (upper limit), 80,000 yen for university entrance exams (upper limit)

Eligible Individuals

Those who meet all of the following requirements

  1. Be the main breadwinner of the household (18 years or older)
  2. Taxable income or total revenue amount is below a certain standard
  3. The amount of savings and other assets is 6 million yen or less
  4. Do not own land or buildings (excluding the land and buildings of the current residence)
  5. Residing in the city for more than one year (resident registration)
  6. Not being the head of the household or a member of a household receiving Public Assistance
  7. Not being a member of a household to which a gang member as defined in Article 2, Item 6 of the Act on Prevention of Unlawful Acts by Gang Members (Act No. 77 of 1991) belongs.

Application for Repayment (Redemption) Exemption

The Student Challenge Support Loan will be exempt from repayment (repayment exemption) if you apply for a "Exemption Application" upon enrolling in an eligible school.
In order to receive the repayment exemption, you must submit the repayment exemption application form along with a certificate of enrollment from the high school, university, etc. you have enrolled in. Additionally, if you meet other eligibility requirements for repayment exemption, there may be cases where repayment is waived upon review, so please contact the Social Welfare Council of Inagi City for more details.
