Rent Guarantee System

We provide support for older adults who wish to continue living in Inagi City but find it difficult to contract private rental housing due to the lack of a guarantor. By bearing the initial guarantee fee (annual guarantee fee from the second year onward), they can receive financial guarantees from a private guarantee company from the time of entry until the time of vacating. The city will subsidize a portion of the initial guarantee fee paid to the private guarantee company.

Eligible households (households that meet all of the following criteria)

1. Single-person households aged 65 and over or households consisting of individuals aged 65 and over
2. Continuously having an address in the city for over one year and residing there
3. It is a move to private rental housing in the city.
4. Emergency contact (relatives, acquaintances, etc.)
5. Currently, it is not possible to appoint a guarantor

Content and Scope of Debt Guarantee

1. Monthly rent, monthly common service fee, monthly parking fee, and equivalent amounts
2. Cost of removal of remaining household goods, etc. upon moving out of the residence (equivalent to actual expenses)
3. Cost required for restoration to original condition upon moving out of a residence (amount based on approval from a private guarantee company)
4. Costs required for legal procedures such as trials (equivalent to actual expenses)

About Guarantee Fees

The guarantee fee that the head of the household wishing to use this system pays to the private guarantee company is as follows.

1. The initial guarantee fee is the amount obtained by multiplying half of the monthly rent, etc. of the lease agreement.
   (If there is a fraction of less than 1 yen, it will be rounded down.)
2. The annual warranty fee after the second year will be 10,000 yen.

Note: The city will only subsidize the initial guarantee fee of 1 (up to 40,000 yen)
