Support Services for Families of Wandering Older Adults

We will lend GPS mobile devices to families of Older Adults who are generally 65 years or older and exhibit significant wandering behavior. This allows for collaboration between a 24-hour reception center and the family to locate the wandering individual and prevent accidents.

Eligible Individuals

Persons aged approximately 65 and older with wandering behavior who have an address in the city

Usage Fee

1. Membership Fee 2,475 yen (including tax)
2. Accessory cost 1,375 yen (including tax)
3. Basic Fee (Monthly) 660 yen (including tax)

Optional Services

Location information provision fee and exploration dispatch fee will be charged.

Reduction of Burden Amount

There is a partial reduction in the above usage fees for recipients of Senior Welfare Pension and households receiving Public Assistance that are exempt from Municipal Resident Tax.

Please fill out the Application Form available at the Senior Welfare Division Community Support Section and submit it.
Additionally, we will ask about the situation of the person who wanders.
