Measures on the System Side

1. The personal identification information managed by this network system is limited to information specified by law.
2. The sources of information are determined by law and cannot be used for private purposes.

Technical Measures

1. To prevent unauthorized access to the network from external sources, communication will be conducted over a dedicated line, and communication information will be encrypted.
2. The computers of municipalities and prefectures will implement measures to monitor and defend against unauthorized intrusions from external sources.
3. Perform mutual authentication with the computer that will be the communication partner and restrict those who can operate it with IC cards or passwords.

Operational Measures

Staff who operate, manage, and run this network system are subject to strict obligations, including confidentiality duties and penalties for misuse.
