Difficult-to-Process Waste

The city cannot properly dispose of the following items, so please consult with the manufacturer, retailer, or disposal contractor, and dispose of them at your own responsibility.

  1. Explosives such as propane gas cylinders
  2. Volatile substances such as organic solvents (paints, thinners, gasoline, oils, etc.)
  3. Battery
  4. Fire Extinguisher
  5. Concrete, blocks, bricks, stones, earth, and large amounts of tiles
  6. Diatomaceous Earth Products
  7. Vending Machine
  8. Large home appliances (width 80 centimeters × height 180 centimeters × depth 80 centimeters or more)
  9. Piano, large electronic organ, and organ
  10. Waste that is difficult to crush (iron weights, bowling balls, fireproof safes, drums, steel ropes, wire, steel plates, etc.)
  11. Hazardous substances (industrial chemicals, chemical products, pesticides, insecticides, and other harmful or toxic liquids)
  12. Medical waste (injection needles, drip equipment, and containers, etc.)
  13. (Note) Excludes containers related to home medical care.
  14. Enamel bathtubs, enamel washbasins, and toilets
  15. Large Game Console
  16. Ignitable materials (solid fuels, smoke bombs, and explosives)
  17. Chairs for business use and examination, such as beauty salons and dental clinics
  18. Surfboards, windsurfing boards, and leisure boards
  19. Household appliances and items containing freon or alternative freon
  20. Items Containing Asbestos
  21. Waste and debris (items subject to the Construction Recycling Law) associated with the demolition and new construction of buildings
  22. Tires, batteries, and automotive parts for cars and motorcycles (items subject to the Automobile Recycling Law)
  23. Television, air conditioner, refrigerator, freezer, washing machine, clothes dryer (items subject to the Home Appliance Recycling Law)
  24. Items Recognized as Industrial Waste
  25. Other items recognized by the administrator
