I'm fine now, muscle-saving gymnastics! Fall fracture prevention gymnastics class

Updated: June 20, 2023

A health exercise instructor will go to a group of 10 or more people and teach exercises. (10 times in total) We aim to be able to continue exercising as a group even after the class ends. Currently, there are about 50 groups in the city that continue to exercise.

Target audience

  • Those who are approximately 65 years old or older and who can come to the venue by themselves
  • Those who have not been instructed to restrict exercise by a doctor

content

It mainly works on muscle strength and balance. Sit on a chair.

  • stretching exercise
  • strength training
  • balance exercise
  • Brain training to improve concentration

Based on the program, instructors will teach according to the level of the participants.

Support for autonomy

During the 10 fall and fracture prevention gymnastics classes, the instructor will provide support for self-management, such as points for gymnastics and how to call out, so that everyone can continue to do gymnastics alone even if the instructor is not available.
