Introducing the "Online Care Place App" - a preventive care app for the elderly

Online meeting place app

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare and the National Center for Geriatrics and Gerontology have jointly released a care prevention app for the elderly.
This app also lets you find out about local exercises, such as healthy exercises that use the Inagi City song, and places to go within Inagi City.
Whether you are already working on nursing care prevention (frailty prevention) or not, please use this to maintain and acquire daily healthy habits.

What you can do with the app

Walking feature


The app will automatically create and suggest walking courses for you, or you can freely customize your own courses.
The results of your walks will be displayed, so you can visualize your activity.

Communication Features


You can interact online with like-minded people from all over the country who enjoy exercising and getting healthy.
You can join specific groups based on your interests or even set up your own group with your close friends.
There is also an alert function for checking safety, so group members can keep an eye on each other.

Exercise video function


Over 1,000 videos are available to view, including local exercises from around the country.
Oral exercises and Cognisize, which is effective in preventing dementia, are also available.

Brain-training game features


You can enjoy a total of 8 different brain training games.
In addition, there are three difficulty levels to choose from and 10 CPU battle levels, so
Once you get used to it, you can increase the difficulty level to have even more fun.

Meal check function


You can record your daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks). It's easy because you can register your meals just by taking a photo.
In addition, the app also has a function that uses AI to automatically analyze food names and calories from photos of meals.

Health Check Function


You can check the number of steps you take each day and the points you earn on a graph, and you can also check your health condition by answering a simple questionnaire.
You will also be provided with an exercise and activity pack that is suitable for you.

Check-in feature


You can check the locations registered by the city on a map, and when you actually attend, you can use the check-in function to record your participation history.
There are five different colour-coded activities.

Original character development feature


By using the app, you can grow your original character, "Magotchi." You can continue your daily healthy habits while enjoying the process of its growth.
