About manager requirements of designated in-home care support office

Regarding managers of in-home long-term care support offices, in the revision of long-term care fees in 2018, "Standards for personnel and operation of designated in-home long-term care support services (Ministry of Health and Welfare Ordinance No. 38 of 1999. Hereinafter referred to as "Ministry of Standards Ordinance"). ) was amended to change the requirement for an administrator from a Care Support Specialist to a Chief Care Support Specialist. Until March 31, 2021, there was a transitional measure to postpone the application, but we would like to inform you that the grace period has been extended to the end of March 2019.

Administrator requirements (Note: contents after revision)

From April 1, 2021, the manager of a designated in-home long-term care support office shall be a chief long-term care support specialist regardless of the office.
However, after April 1, 2021, due to unforeseen circumstances (death of the chief care support specialist manager, occurrence of health problems such as long-term medical treatment, sudden retirement or relocation, etc.), chief care support In the event that a specialist cannot be appointed as an administrator, if permission is obtained after submitting a plan to secure an administrator to Inagi City, the requirement for the administrator to become a chief long-term care support specialist will apply. 1 year grace period.

Deferment of application of administrator requirements

As of March 31, 2021, for a designated in-home long-term care support business office whose manager is a person who is not a chief long-term care support specialist, as long as the manager is the manager, the manager will be treated as a chief long-term care support specialist. The application of the requirement to do so will be postponed until March 31, 2020.
Note: If you change the administrator after April 1, 2021, you will need to be qualified as a chief care support specialist.
