Forest owner notification system

From April 2012, due to the revision of the Forest Law, those who became owners of forest land were obliged to notify the mayor of the municipality after the fact.
In this case, forests refer to forests, etc. outside urbanized areas.
Notification subject
Those who newly acquired forest land in Inagi City through sales or inheritance, regardless of whether they are individuals or corporations. However, those who have submitted a land sales contract based on the National Land Use Planning Act are not eligible.
Notification period
Within 90 days from the date of ownership of the forest land.
If you do not submit a notification or submit a false notification, you may be subject to a fine of up to 100,000 yen.
Matters to be notified
In the notification form, the address and name of the notifier and the previous owner, the date the owner became the owner, the reason for the transfer of ownership, the location and area of the land, as well as the purpose of the land. As attached documents, a copy of a document showing that the right has been acquired, such as a certificate of registered matters (a copy is also acceptable) or a land sales contract, and a drawing showing the location of the land are required.
