Based on the "Inagi City Ordinance Concerning the Protection of the Natural Environment and the Restoration of Greenery", Inagi City designates valuable trees as preserved trees to conserve greenery.
Criteria for Designating Preserved Trees
- Trees must be healthy, aesthetically pleasing, and well-maintained, and
tree height Trees with a diameter of about 10 meters and a trunk diameter of about 0.5 meters (around 1.5 meters in circumference) at a height of 1 meter above the ground, or trees deemed necessary by the Inagi City Natural Environment Conservation Council due to other characteristics of the trees. forest for individualforest are healthy, aesthetically pleasing, and well managed
Grant of subsidy
If a tree is designated as a preserved tree, a subsidy will be issued based on the "Guidelines for Subsidies for Protection of the Natural Environment and Restoration of Greenery in Inagi City."
