Nature Conservation Area

Inagi City designates the remaining valuable greenery as a natural environment conservation area based on the "Inagi City Ordinance Concerning the Protection of the Natural Environment and the Restoration of Greenery."
Criteria for Designating Nature Conservation Areas
The criteria for designating a natural environment conservation area is a green space with an area of 1,000 square meters or more that falls into one of the following categories:
1 Green space open to the public For public use, trees,
2 The greenery that makes up the landscape green space Inagi
3 Ecosystem Conservation Green Areas Areas that are habitats for flora and fauna and need to be protected or propagated, or areas adjacent to such areas where the habitat of said flora and fauna is expected to expand.

Grant of subsidy
Once designated as a conservation area, incentives and management subsidies will be issued based on the "Guidelines for Subsidies for Protection of the Natural Environment and Restoration of Greenery in Inagi City."
