Subsidy system for creating hedges (removal of block walls, etc.)

The city subsidizes a portion of the costs required for the construction of hedges and the removal of block walls, etc., in order to improve streetscapes, promote greenery along roads, and prevent disasters.

Please note: There are requirements for each grant. See below for details.
Note: Hedge construction is only eligible if efforts are made to protect, nurture and properly manage the hedge for at least five years after construction is completed.

Safety inspection of block walls, etc.

Block walls and other structures are at risk of collapsing due to natural disasters such as earthquakes or as a result of aging. If they collapse, it can not only cause personal injury, but also hinder evacuation and rescue efforts.
First of all, we ask for your cooperation in safety inspections of any block walls or other structures you own to see if they are leaning or have cracks.

 ◆Inspection items (exterior inspection)◆
1. Is the fence too high?
2. Is the fence thick enough?
3. Are there buttresses?
4. Do you have the basics?
5. Is there any tilting, cracking, shaking, etc. in the fence?

For more information, please see "Inspection Checkpoints for Block Walls, etc." below.
