Assistance for removal of block walls, etc.

From November 16, 2018, it became possible to issue subsidies for the removal of block walls, etc.

If all of the following apply, you will be eligible for subsidies.
1 Block walls, etc. to be removed in the city
2 The height of the block wall, etc. must exceed 1.2 meters.
3 The total length of block walls, etc. shall be 3 meters or more.
4 Concrete walls, etc. facing roads and public land

Note: Be sure to apply before starting construction, and start construction after the city grants a decision. It does not apply during or after construction. For more information, please contact the Town Development and Regeneration Division.

Note 1: Issuance target is up to 30 meters
Note 2: If the removal cost is less than 5,000 yen per meter, the actual cost (rounded down to the nearest 100 yen) is the subsidy amount.

1 Activities performed by the national government, local governments, public corporations and public corporations
2 Businesses conducted by real estate agents and developers
3 Other items that the mayor deems inappropriate
