About assistance for creating hedges

　If all of the following apply, you will be eligible for a subsidy.
1 Installation of new hedges within the city <br id="4"/>Notes: Including removing existing block walls and converting them into hedges.
2 The height of hedge trees must be approximately 80 cm or more.
3 The total length of the hedge is 3 meters or more
4 Facing the road, in principle, the road width must be at least 4 meters.
Note 1: When installing a hedge alongside a net fence, etc., as a general rule, the trees should be planted on the road side and the height of the tree should be higher than the net fence. However, when installing a net fence facing the road, the structure should have good transparency, and the trees to be planted should be higher than the net fence when planted.

Note 2: Be sure to apply before starting construction, and start construction after the city has decided to issue it. This does not apply during construction or after construction is completed. For details, please contact the Town Development and Revitalization Division.

Installation of hedges (new installation)
8,000 yen per meter
Demolition (removal) of block walls, etc. for the purpose of installing hedges
5,000 yen per meter
Note 1: The grant applies to up to 30 meters for both new construction and removal.
Note 2: If the new installation cost is less than 8,000 yen per meter and the removal cost is less than 5,000 yen per meter, the actual cost (rounded down to the nearest 100 yen) will be the subsidy amount.

3. Any other matter that the Mayor deems inappropriate
