About assistance of hedge construction

　If all of the following apply, you will be eligible for subsidies.
1 Construction of new hedges within the city
2 The height of hedge trees should be approximately 80 centimeters or more.
3 The total length of the hedge must be 3 meters or more.
4 Facing the road, in principle, the road width must be 4 meters or more.
Note 1: When installing a hedge along with a net fence, as a general rule, plant trees on the road side and make them taller than the net fence. However, when installing a net fence facing the road, the structure should have good transparency, and the trees to be planted should be higher than the net fence when planting.

Note 2: Be sure to apply before starting construction, and start construction after the grant decision from the city. It does not apply during or after construction. For details, please contact the Town Planning and Regeneration Division.

Installation of hedges (new construction)
8,000 yen per meter
Demolition (removal) of block walls, etc. for the purpose of setting up hedges
5,000 yen per meter
Note 1: Up to 30 meters for both new construction and removal
Note 2: If the installation cost is less than 8,000 yen per meter and the removal cost is less than 5,000 yen per meter, the subsidy amount is the actual cost (rounded down to the nearest 100 yen).

2 Businesses conducted by real estate agents and developers
3 Other items that the mayor deems inappropriate
