Permission under Article 53 of the City Planning Act

For construction activities within the area of the urban development project (Sakahama Hirao Land Readjustment Project) prior to urban planning facilities and projects, permission from the mayor is required.

Standards for Permission Established by Article 54 of the City Planning Act

1. The number of floors is 2 or less, and it does not have a basement.
2. The main structures are made of wood, steel frame, concrete block, or other similar materials.

However, there are relaxed approval standards for three-story buildings and similar for urban planning roads, parks, and green spaces that have not yet been started.

As of January 1, 2021, the stamping of application forms and power of attorney is no longer required.

Please attach the following to the Application Form and submit 2 copies. The processing period is approximately 1 week.

1. Building Confirmation Application Form (From Page 2 to Page 5)
2. Guide Map (Scale 1:2,500 or larger)
3. Site Plan (Scale 1:500 or larger)
4. Area Calculation Diagram (Site and Building)
5. Floor plans for each level (scale 1:200 or larger)
6. Elevation drawing (two or more sides, scale 1:200 or larger)
7. Cross-sectional view (2 or more sides, scale 1:200 or larger)

Please attach a power of attorney if necessary. The format is optional.
