Inagi City Master Plan

The Urban Planning Master Plan is the "basic policy regarding urban planning of municipalities" as stipulated in Article 18-2 of the Urban Planning Act. Matters defined in urban planning, such as land use zones, District Plans, and urban planning facilities, are established based on this Urban Planning Master Plan.
Furthermore, the Urban Planning Master Plan serves as an indirect "guidance target" for future land use, and does not impose direct regulations on building uses or construction activities.

In Inagi City, we formulated the Urban Planning Master Plan in March 2003 and have been promoting Community Development that leverages the city's characteristics. Additionally, partial revisions were made in 2008 and 2013, and in this review, we comprehensively reassessed the structure based on trends in Community Development within the city and changes in the socio-economic situation. We have set forth the vision for Community Development as "A town surrounded by greenery and water, where people connect - Inagi ". Surrounded by the rich greenery of the Tama Hills and abundant water from the Tama River, Misawa River, and Omaru Waterway, we aim to create a town where people of all generations can connect, experience a high quality of life and richness, and where citizens can settle down while transitioning through generations.
