Groundwater pumping regulation

In order to prevent ground subsidence, when installing groundwater pumping facilities (wells), structural standards and upper limits on pumping volumes are required in accordance with environmental ordinances to ensure the health and safety of Tokyo residents (abbreviation: Tokyo Metropolitan Environmental Security Ordinance). is regulated.
In addition, we are obligated to report the amount of pumped water once a year, including groundwater pumping facilities that have already been installed.

Note: Single-family homes for domestic use only are eligible only for water pumping installations with a water pump output greater than 300 watts.

Time of notification
Please submit setting notification within 30 days before the start of construction.
Note: Please contact the Living Environment Division Environmental Conservation Section in advance when you come to report.
Note: In principle, the copy of the notification form will be returned at a later date. If it is difficult for you to come to the office to return the materials, they will be returned by mail.
Note: Regarding various notification documents, if there is an error in the content of the description due to the abolition of stamping, please correct it with double lines.

When changing or abolishing pumping facilities, please notify us when there is a change in the owner's name, address, etc.
- Change of pumping facility: Please submit groundwater pumping facility installation / change notification form (No. 36 style) according to pumping facility installation.
- Abolition of Pumping Facilities: Well Abolition Report
- Change of name, etc. of well owner: Report of change of name, etc.

The pumping facility installer should grasp the amount of groundwater pumped in the previous year, etc., and report it once a year.
Target facility
All pumping facilities Notes: Pumping facilities installed after July 2016 and used only for domestic purposes in detached houses are subject only to pumping facilities with a pump output exceeding 300 watts.
