[About road maintenance plans]
The tunnel opened on October 1st of this year on Tama City Planning Roads 3, 4, and 36 Odarakami Hirao Line, but I would like to request that it be opened to Tsurukawa Kaido as soon as possible. Please tell us about your future outlook.

・In the Odara land readjustment project area of ​​this route, the project is progressing toward land replacement around the fall of 2021.
・The section from the Odara land readjustment project's district border to Tsurukawa Kaido is designated as a "priority development route" in the "Urban Planning Road Development Policy in Tokyo (Fourth Project Plan)" until FY2020. The project has been positioned as a route where the project will begin in the near future, and preparations are currently underway to exchange opinions with local residents, with plans to hold the event by the end of the year.
・Also, in the 4th Inagi City Long-term Comprehensive Plan (plan period up to FY2020), it is positioned as one route for major arterial road development.
・In the future, if we gain the understanding of the local people, we would like to carry out surveying, etc.

・The undeveloped section is approximately 390 meters long, but as many landowners are involved, we believe it will take a considerable amount of time to fully open the road.

[About road maintenance plans]
When the Tama City Planning District Plan was decided (2007), there was a plan to develop divided roads No. 1 to No. 19 according to the Sakahama Nishi District Plan.
Currently, the surveying and planning of Route 1 is finally being carried out, and I hear that from now on, the development plan will start from Route 1. Is it possible to listen to the needs of the local community and plan accordingly, starting with the necessary routes?
For example, there are now voices requesting that Route 3 (in front of Hozoin Danchi) be widened. Also, what about areas other than this plan?
I don't think everything will go as requested, but I wonder if it can be reflected in future plans.

・In the Sakahama-Hirao area, a land readjustment project implemented by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government was previously canceled, but after much discussion with local residents, urban development guidelines were formulated in March 2006, and based on these guidelines, urban development is currently being carried out through land readjustment projects implemented by the association and through the district planning system.
・In the Sakahamanishi District Plan, priority routes for road development were determined based on opinions from the local community, and construction of Route 1 (Auxiliary City Road Route 1, Kamiyato Street) was completed in fiscal 2013.
- Regarding Route 2 (from the vicinity of the Prefectural Border Bus Stop on City Road 11/Tsurukawa Kaido to Kamiyato Ohashi Street), an exchange of opinions was held with residents along the road in 2018, and an agreement was reached on the policy of widening the existing road, and surveying work is currently being carried out in stages.
・As for other routes, the timing of the Misawa River repairs was unclear at the time of formulating the district plan, but as the Tokyo Metropolitan Government has started a project to repair the Misawa River, opinions were exchanged with residents living along the road and a general agreement was reached for the repairs.In addition, as the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is currently gradually progressing with repairs to the Misawa River in this area, it is effective to carry out repairs to the side road in line with the progress of the project, so surveying began this year.
- In the future, we would like to proceed with our consideration of routes that can be developed, taking into account the agreement we have obtained from residents living along the roads regarding road development, as well as the progress of related projects.

-The road in front of Hozoin housing complex has very complicated land ownership and the current situation does not match the official map, so we first need to sort that out, which I think will take a considerable amount of time.

[About improving rainwater drainage]
Regarding the "improvement of rainwater drainage in front of Wakabadai 1-1 (next to Kamiyato Shinsui Park)," which was requested at a town meeting two years ago, the site has been inspected several times by the management department, but the basics are not correct. I would like to ask for countermeasures.

・This area is the intersection of City Road 1736 (to the west of the Kamiyato Experience Learning Center) that continues from Kamiyato Street and Nagamine Nishi Street during heavy rains, and rainwater may concentrate and overflow from the waterway on Kamiyato Street. Therefore, construction work to install a bypass pipe is scheduled to be carried out within this fiscal year.

[About evacuation in times of disaster]
During the recent typhoon, I evacuated to the house of a relative who lived in a safe area because the area near my home was in a landslide disaster zone.
We receive evacuation calls from the city via e-mail, but it may not be communicated to elderly people who do not use e-mail.
Are there any plans to consider distributing radios that can receive disaster prevention radio signals?

・The city is aware of the opinion that the disaster prevention administrative radio system cannot be heard. Broadcasting echoes due to crowded housing, and the airtightness of houses makes it difficult to hear outside sounds. Therefore, we are working on an alternative approach using multiple media.
・The most effective option is an "email delivery service." The content broadcast from disaster prevention administrative radio is always transcribed and sent via email service. The idea that ``elderly people cannot send e-mails'' was a story a while ago, but now many people are using mobile phones. Registration for e-mail is easy, but if you are unsure, the city hall can provide information. I hope many people will take advantage of it.
・We also have a disaster prevention administrative radio telephone service, where you can listen to the content played over the speakers again by calling a toll-free number. The number is also printed on the cover of the disaster prevention map.
・In addition, evacuation calls are made using a variety of other media, such as using area mail from mobile phone companies and patrolling in PR vehicles.
・There was talk of a radio-type individual wireless receiver, but since there is little demand for it, it is an expensive device, costing nearly 50,000 yen each. This is not something the city can hand out for free. In areas where houses are separated by kilometers, such as in depopulated rural areas, there are cases where individual receivers are used instead of installing speakers outside.
・Although the city conducted a test five years ago to introduce individual receivers, they were unable to receive radio waves well in apartments and other areas, so they decided not to introduce them.

[Bringing pets to evacuation shelters]
I heard that there is an evacuation notebook for people who are taking pets to evacuation shelters. I think it would be a good idea to hand it out to them when giving them the rabies vaccine.
・Evacuation companion notebooks are distributed at the Health Division. Please contact us for details.
・Please note that accepting pets at evacuation centers is an issue that is divided into pros and cons. In principle, the city accepts pets as long as they come in a cage.
・During this typhoon, some evacuation centers accepted pets into their buildings, but they received fierce criticism. Some evacuation centers also had spaces outside.
・While some people hate animals, others think that pets are family members, and feel that this is an extremely difficult issue to deal with.
[Plan for establishing a new station in Sakahama]
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government had previously canceled a land readjustment project in the Sakahama Hyakuson area, but I had high hopes for it. Is there at least a plan to establish a new station between Wakabadai and Inagi Station?
・To be frank, there are no plans to build a new station. I have an idea of ​​what it would be like to do, but I don't have a plan.
・In the past, opposition from local residents was behind the cancellation of land readjustment projects. For this reason, the station called Wakabadai was created.
・When a station is built at the request of a local community, it is called a ``petition station,'' and the installation cost is 100% borne by the local government, which is said to cost approximately 5 billion yen. There is no way the city can bear the burden.
