Regarding the notation of the address on the resident registration

In Inagi City, the address on the resident registration (Certificate of Residence) is expressed using the land's "lot number".

• If the land display includes a large or small character, the address will be displayed omitting it.
• For land with branch numbers, the notation is made by inserting "no" between the address and the branch number. (Higashi-Naganuma ●●'s ●●)
• If the land is divided into multiple lot numbers, the lot number of the land with the largest occupied area, the lot number of the entrance (the main entrance of the residence), etc., will be objectively assessed, and one of them will be used as the address lot number.

• Note: For the land readjustment area, the "lot number" may not be used.
• Note: Since the residential address system is not in place, there is no need for a "New Construction Notification."

How to Confirm Your Address at the Time of Resident Registration

In Inagi City, when accepting changes in residency such as moving in or relocating, we confirm the location of your residence using maps held by the Citizen Affairs Division and proceed with resident registration after verifying the land number.
If the land number cannot be confirmed using the maps held by the Citizen Affairs Division for land readjustment areas or newly constructed properties, we will conduct the verification through other divisions before proceeding with resident registration.
