To ensure that dogs live healthily, daily walks are essential. While walks are adjusted to the owner's lifestyle, it has recently been observed that dog waste is often found on roads, sidewalks, and in parks.
In the fiscal year 2000, the city established the "Inagi City Citizen Ordinance to Keep the City Clean" with the aim of contributing to the establishment and maintenance of a safe and comfortable living environment, prohibiting littering and the abandonment of dog waste.
As part of the city's efforts, when dog waste is found left on the street, we implement the "Yellow Chalk Operation," which highlights the waste by surrounding it with yellow chalk to draw attention and remind the owners.

A 'One' Point Before Going for a Walk

  • Please be sure to take your pet's waste home.
It is the owner's responsibility to properly bring it back home when your pet has an accident during a walk.
  • Please make sure to let your pet relieve itself indoors before going for a walk.
If your pet urinates on the street or on a utility pole, please wash it away with water immediately.
