In May 2023, a fire occurred in Yanagawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture, during a barbecue, due to the use of alcohol sold for hand disinfection as an accelerant, resulting in a fatal accident. Alcohol and similar substances pose a significant risk of causing serious fires, so please handle them with great care.

Disinfectant alcohol is highly flammable due to fire, and the flammable vapors generated from disinfectant alcohol are heavier than air and tend to accumulate in low areas, so please pay attention to the following points.

- Do not use near fire sources such as kitchen stoves.
- Let's ensure proper ventilation in the area where refilling is done.
- Do not store in a place exposed to direct sunlight.
- Let's check the precautions such as 'No open flames' and others.
