When older adults go missing due to wandering, etc.

When an Older Adult goes missing due to wandering, please do not think, "They might be found if we search" or "I don't want to involve the police." Instead, please contact the police at 110 first.
A quick report leads to an early discovery.

In Inagi City, we provide the following support for Older Adults who wander and similar issues.

Inagi City Wandering Older Adults SOS Network

There is a network aimed at the early detection of wandering and other issues concerning Older Adults in collaboration with relevant agencies when they go missing.
Please consult the Senior Welfare Division of Inagi City after contacting the police at 110.
At that time, we will ask for information that can serve as markers for the search, such as the Older Adult's age, physical characteristics, clothing, and belongings.

Support Services for Families of Wandering Older Adults

This is a support service for older adults aged 65 and over who exhibit significant wandering behavior. We provide portable devices to help locate them in case they go missing, in collaboration with a 24-hour reception center and their families, to prevent accidents and ensure that families can care for them with peace of mind.
Additionally, while there is a personal cost, there is an optional service for search operations with the cooperation of the device utilization company.

Usage Fee

• Application Fee 3,500 yen (excluding tax)
• Monthly usage fee 250 yen (excluding tax)
• Optional services include location information fees and exploration dispatch fees.
