Information about the Inagi City Community General Support Center

The Community General Support Center is a comprehensive consultation agency that provides support in various areas such as nursing care, welfare, health, and medical services, so that Older Adults can continue to live in their familiar community in their own way, under a commission from the city.
Additionally, we also accept consultations not only about yourself or your family but also about neighbors you may be concerned about.

Community General Support Center that watches over the community

We listen to various consultations and concerns from residents in the community, and work in collaboration with Commissioned Welfare Volunteers and Neighborhood Associations to create a safe and comfortable community.
Additionally, we are active in the community with four main tasks to ensure that Older Adults can continue to live in their familiar surroundings in a way that suits them.

1. We provide various consultations

We receive various inquiries such as, "Recently, I have been more prone to falling, what should I do?" "How can I stay healthy without using Long-Term Care Insurance?" "Are there gatherings that Older Adults can participate in since I don't have acquaintances in the neighborhood?" "How can I use Long-Term Care Insurance?"
Inquiries are welcome from not only Older Adults and their families but also from neighbors and anyone else.
For those who have difficulty visiting due to poor mobility, we also offer consultations by phone and home visits.

2. We provide support for preventive care

We provide support to prevent the need for care or assistance due to muscle weakness or forgetfulness, allowing individuals to continue their current lifestyle. We introduce care prevention programs tailored to each person and carry out the necessary procedures.
Additionally, we hold community care prevention classes and classes to support family members in caregiving as needed.

3. We will protect the dignity and rights of Older Adults

We will work in collaboration with relevant agencies to prevent abuse of Older Adults, promote early detection of abuse, and prevent damage from fraudulent business practices.
Additionally, for those who have concerns about contracts for care services or daily financial management, we provide support for utilizing the "Community Welfare Rights Protection Project" and the "Adult Guardianship System."

4. We support the creation of local networks

We are collaborating with organizations and institutions that support the community, such as medical institutions, Commissioned Welfare Volunteers, Neighborhood Associations, the Social Welfare Council, volunteer groups, and various service providers, to create a network that makes it easier for Older Adults to live in the community and to ensure they can continue to live in their familiar neighborhoods.

We will create a nursing care prevention plan

The Community General Support Center creates plans for those who have been certified as "Support Required Level 1" and "Support Required Level 2" in the long-term care certification.
