To prevent heatstroke, it is important to take measures appropriate for each location.
Please refer to the following and take appropriate measures.
In addition, starting from fiscal year 2024, a "special heatstroke alert" will be issued when temperatures become particularly high and there is a risk of serious health damage due to heatstroke.
Avoid the heat and protect yourself
indoors
- Adjust the temperature of the room by using an air conditioner or fan.
- Use blackout curtains, bamboo blinds, and sprinkling water
- Wear cool clothes
- Be especially careful on days when it suddenly becomes hot.
outdoors
- Wearing a parasol or hat
- Use shade and take frequent breaks
- On days when the weather is nice, avoid going out during the day as much as possible.
Avoid body heat accumulation
- Wear breathable, moisture-absorbing, quick-drying clothing
- Cool your body with ice packs, ice, cold towels, etc.
Hydrate frequently
- Even if you don't feel thirsty, be sure to replenish yourself with fluids, salt, and sports drinks, whether indoors or outdoors.

Elderly people, children, and people with disabilities are more susceptible to heatstroke, so be careful.
