The revised Climate Change Adaptation Act came into effect in April 2024, and a "special heatstroke alert" was created, which is a level higher warning than the previous heatstroke alert.
During this year's heatstroke special alert period until Wednesday, October 23rd, the "heatstroke prevention shelters (cooling shelters)" that have been opened as countermeasures against heatstroke in the summer will be designated as "cooling shelters" and will be opened as a countermeasure against heatstroke.
Please use it as a temporary refuge from the heat.

Precautions for use
- This is a facility open to the public to provide temporary shelter from the heat. Please refrain from using it for long periods of time as a working space or in a way that causes inconvenience to other residents.
- Please prepare and bring your own drinks .
- Please follow the instructions of each facility when using the facilities.
We are looking for designated and registered cooling shelter facilities and stores.
We are looking for facilities and stores in the city to help provide a place where residents and anyone can easily escape the heat and take a break.
Note: If your property is deemed suitable as a cooling shelter, you will be required to enter into an agreement with the city.
