Concept of Relocation

The Land Readjustment Project is a land improvement project that involves changing the road network and developing new residential land. Basically, buildings will need to be relocated to the new site (replacement land).

Flow of Relocation of Buildings and Other Structures (Example of General Consultation Relocation)

1 Transfer Plan

The implementing agency (the city) will establish a development plan within the district and determine the order of relocation for buildings to be moved, as well as the methods of relocation.

2 Transfer Consultation

We will inform the rights holders about the timing and methods of transfer.

3 Investigation of Buildings and Other Structures

We will inspect the interiors and exteriors of buildings and structures you own for verification.

4 Confirmation of Survey Content

Once the survey is completed, you will be able to confirm the details through documents such as the "survey drawings".

5 Submission of Declaration

After confirming the survey details, please submit the declaration form for your property.

6 Building Evaluation

In addition to the investigation of buildings, a "Building Evaluation Committee" will visit to assess the building.

7 Compensation Calculation

Compensation costs will be calculated based on the 'Land Readjustment Project Loss Compensation Standards' from the survey contents and other factors.

8 Compensation Negotiation and Relocation

Once the calculation is complete, we will present the "compensation amount" and hold discussions.
Once the discussions are finalized, we will conclude the compensation contract (agreement), and thereafter you will be asked to relocate.

9 Payment of Compensation

Compensation will be paid after the relocation is completed.
