When a house was demolished to make way for a parking lot, the land tax amount increased the following year. Why?

Update date: August 30, 2013

Land that is used for housing is called "residential land", and for "residential land" there are special tax base measures to reduce the tax burden. If you demolish a house built on land that has received this exception, the tax amount on the land will increase because you will not be able to receive the exception.
