Q&A summary

Contents of question Answer
[About urban infrastructure development]
Is the maintenance of the Tsurukawa Highway from Inagi Station to Wakabadai Station progressing?
They are requesting that the Tokyo Metropolitan Government adopt a new development plan and give it a higher priority. In particular, they are requesting early action regarding the section from the entrance of Komazawa Gakuen to Wakabadai.
[About urban infrastructure development]
What will happen to the maintenance schedule of the Misawa River in the Sakahama district?
We are making requests and requests to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
Specifically, there is the issue of alternative land along the road. It has been postponed for a while because it is difficult to resolve the issue, but if we look at the project as a whole, land acquisition is progressing, so we request that it be resolved as soon as possible.
[About urban infrastructure development]
Regarding the Misawa River, the vicinity of 563 Sakahama is dangerous, but will it be dealt with in the future?
Currently, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is making improvements to the Misawa River, such as widening the river, so that it can handle rainfall of 50 millimeters per hour. This plan received business approval in 2012, and work has begun. We are currently in the process of designing and acquiring land, so we will continue to request the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to prepare it as soon as possible.
[About urban infrastructure development]
It feels like Sakahama has been left behind by the whole of Inagi City.
I would like Sakahama to build something that will become a symbol of Inagi, extend the promenade along the Misawa River, and carry out expansion work with an eye on the future.
Inagi City's current major projects include land readjustment projects in the Kamihirao and Odara districts, and the maintenance of Tsurukawa Kaido and the Misawa River. Sakahama is the center of surface maintenance, including the development of sewerage facilities.
As the roads and rivers will be constructed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, we would like to make requests to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
The city would like to work together with the metropolitan government to improve roadside improvements.
[About urban infrastructure development]
I would like to ask if there are any plans for urban planning projects in the Sakahama area, especially around Hozoin.
In the past, the area around Hozoin was planned to be readjusted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, but there are currently no plans to do so.
As an alternative plan, we are proceeding with development based on the Sakahama West District District Plan. For example, we are expanding the road in front of Kamiyato Experience Learning Center. Since there is an order of priority, we will consider the target area as an issue in the future, so we would like to respond.
[About urban infrastructure development]
I heard that city road No. 11 has the second priority, is that true? Are you planning to purchase land in the future?
City Route 11 has priority number two. We survey now and push forward alignment of road this year.
[About i-bus]
Regarding the i-bus, I would like the route from Sakahama to Wakabadai to be restored.
Although it is not possible to revive one route, we will incorporate it into the overall opinion and discuss it.
I asked a private route bus company to take my bus to the Wakabadai rotary. It is an alternative to i-Bus, so please use it.
[About i-bus]
Why did you review the route even though it took 10 years to settle and get used to it as a citizen bus? This revision made it more difficult for citizens to use. Please go back to the old route.
This revision was discussed by a council made up of bus operators, government agencies that authorize routes, the police, city halls, and user representatives.
In the route map before the revision, there was a large difference between areas with a large number of buses and areas with a small number of buses. In addition, there were various drawbacks, such as delays occurring if the bus did not accelerate rapidly. Since there were many opinions that they wanted us to review these matters, we revised them.
However, there was not enough time for discussion among the committee members, and I regretted not being able to talk about the specific course of review. Ultimately, it was time for a review, and we reviewed the best proposal that came up from the review committee.
Since the operation actually started, we have received various opinions from citizens.
We want you to convey opinion to local representative well to talk about the next review at local public transport meeting. In addition, we will work on the parts that can be tackled without reviewing.
[About i-bus]
We want you to cope with matter that we examined in local public transport meeting well.
Unlike in the past, it has been upgraded to a statutory council, and many members, including user representatives from each region, are discussing it. Although it is not possible to reflect all opinions, we believe that we can consolidate many opinions.
[About i-bus]
Since there are no buses from the Sakahama, Wakabadai, and Nagamine areas to stations along the Nambu Line, please make one.
I am asking the bus operator.
[About Town Meeting]
As the mayor, how will you respond to the voices of citizens at town meetings in each district?
In order not to lose my sense of the field, I attend town meetings and events in each district, and receive various opinions at these meetings.
However, we cannot fulfill all opinions, and sometimes we receive completely opposite opinions. I would like to listen to many opinions and consolidate them into the greatest common divisor.
