Updated: April 6, 2024

Special measures have been established for the application of special provisions for miscellaneous loss deductions to those who suffered damage to their homes and belongings due to the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake.

We would like to express our heartfelt condolences to all those affected by the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake.

The Local Tax Act and related laws and regulations, as well as the Inagi City Ordinance, have been revised, making it possible to apply miscellaneous loss deductions to municipal and metropolitan taxes for fiscal year 2024 for damage suffered to assets such as homes and household goods due to the 2024 Noto Peninsula earthquake.

For more information, please refer to the link below.
If you have filed a final income tax return, you do not need to file a municipal or metropolitan resident tax return.
