About computerization of special collection tax amount notice

Update date: December 7, 2023

From FY2020, special collection tax amount notifications (for taxpayers) will be sent electronically to individual taxpayers among those who submit salary payment reports via eLTAX. When a person who has a system that can provide the information via eLTAX (in-house system, email, etc.) makes a request, the municipality will notify the special collection tax amount via eLTAX (in-house system, email, etc.).・We will send the electronic data (original) for taxpayers.

For more information, please refer to the Local Tax Joint Organization leaflet (The method for receiving special collection tax amount notifications for individual residence tax has changed!).

  • Special collection tax amount notification (for special collection agents): Receive the document by mail
  • Special collection tax amount notice (for taxpayers): Receive the document by mail

When submitting a salary payment report in writing or on an optical disc, etc.

For those responsible for special collection who submit salary payment reports in writing or on optical discs, we will send a special collection tax amount notice in writing. Please note that in this case, you cannot choose to receive electronic data.

Regarding the abolition of duplicate copies of special collection tax amount notices (for special collection agents)

From 2020, electronic data (duplicates) of special collection tax amount notifications (for special collection agents) will be discontinued, so it will no longer be possible to receive both electronic data and paper.
