FY2024 2nd Inagi City Bicycle Helmet Purchase Subsidy Grant Project (Applications are now closed)

Applications for the 2nd Inagi City Bicycle Helmet Purchase Subsidy for fiscal year 2024 are now closed.
Thank you for all your applications.
1. Application period
September 1 (Sunday) to September 30 (Monday), 2024
2. Grant recipients
- Those who have an address within the city on the day of application
- Those who are not in arrears with city taxes
- Those who purchased a bicycle helmet that meets safety standards such as the SG mark between April 1, 2023 and the application date
Note: This does not apply to recipients of the same grant in fiscal year 2023 and the first round of fiscal year 2024.
Note: Helmets purchased before March 31, 2023 and second-hand items are not eligible for the subsidy.
Note: All ages are eligible, but for recipients under 18, a guardian must apply.
3. Grant amount
2,000 yen
Note: If the purchase amount is less than 2,000 yen, the amount of the purchase will be subsidized Note: Only once per person
Four. Number of people supported
500 people Note: If there are a large number of applicants, a lottery will be held and only the winners will be notified.
Five. Products
A new bicycle helmet that meets any safety standard
SG, JCF, CE (EN1078), GS, CPSC (CPSC1203), etc.
6. How to apply
Applications can be made online or by mail.
Please apply using either method.
(1) Application: Apply online or by mail.

(2) Payment decision: The payment decision is scheduled for early November. The city will send you the documents necessary for the claim by mail.

(3) Request: Please prepare the necessary documents and return them by mail.
↓
(4) Payment: After carefully examining the claim, the grant will be transferred to the designated account.

7. Billing method
The city will mail the documents necessary for claiming only to those who have been approved for the grant.
After carefully examining the claim, we will transfer the grant money to the designated account.
Note: If you do not receive the documents by mail from the city, you will not be eligible for the subsidy. Thank you for your understanding.
What to submit at the time of request
(1) Bicycle Helmet Purchase Subsidy Application Form (Form 3, No. 1 or 2)
Please fill in your address, name, designated bank account for transfer, and information about the helmet you purchased (manufacturer, model number (product name), safety certification mark, purchase price, and subsidy claim amount).
(2) Receipt or invoice (copy acceptable)
Please prepare the purchase date, manufacturer, model number (product name), purchase price, and recipient's name on the bicycle helmet you purchased.
