Start of Operation of Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (Drones)

In response to the increasingly complex and diverse disasters in recent years, we have introduced small unmanned aerial vehicles (drones). The aim is to obtain images from above disaster sites to facilitate rapid and effective firefighting activities.
The use of drones will be operated by firefighters trained in drone piloting under operational rules during disasters such as fires, floods, and earthquakes.

• Search for persons in need of rescue at water-related incidents
• Confirmation of the situation of deposits and dangerous areas due to landslides and other disasters, etc.
