Please use the resource waste collective collection subsidy system
Neighborhood Associations and children's groups, among other local organizations, conduct "collective resource collection" to voluntarily gather recyclable materials such as used paper, separate from the city's resource collection days, and hand them over to resource collection companies. Registered collective collection organizations receive subsidies based on the amount collected. The proceeds from these activities are returned to the community, so please make use of this service.
Eligible Items and Subsidy Amount
Depending on the amount of collected recyclable materials, 9 yen per kilogram (newspapers, magazines, cardboard, milk cartons, old cloth, steel cans, bottles, and other valuable materials), 6 yen per kilogram/liter (aluminum cans, cooking oil waste)
How to Start Group Collection
1. Form a collection group
Please create a non-profit organization such as a Neighborhood Association, management association, or children's club that can conduct activities at least once a year with more than 20 households, and decide on a representative.
2. Select the items to be collected
Please select the items to be collected from the items eligible for subsidies.
3. Choose a collection contractor
We will introduce registered resource recovery contractors in the city, so please contact the Living Environment Division Waste and Recycling Section.
4. Decide how to dispose of resources
Please decide when, where, and how to put out resources in consultation with the collection contractor within the group. Ensure that the collection dates for group collection and the city's resource collection do not overlap, and try to separate the collection points as much as possible.
5. Submission of Group Registration Application Form to the City
