How to Dispose of Bulky Waste
Before Disposing, Please Consider Reuse
Inagi City signed an agreement with Market Enterprise Co., Ltd. and Jimoty Co., Ltd. on December 12, 2024 (Thursday).
We are promoting reuse in collaboration with the services of each company.
By reusing, not only do we get closer to realizing Inagi City's goal of '5R+1 [Collaboration] for a circular community development', but it also leads to a reduction in the collection fees you pay.
Before throwing away that waste, please consider reusing it.
- A partnership agreement has been concluded with Market Enterprise Co., Ltd. to promote reuse.
- A partnership agreement has been concluded with Jimoty Inc. to promote reuse.
If you want to sell to a recycling shop → Reuse platform "Oikura"
Oikura is a reuse platform developed by Market Enterprise Co., Ltd.
If you want to sell unwanted items, you can request an appraisal through "Oikura," which will send a bulk appraisal request to affiliated recycling shops nationwide, allowing you to compare purchase prices.

Jimoty is a local web bulletin board operated by Jimoty Inc., and it can be used for free.
You can transfer or receive unwanted items for free or for a fee.
How to Dispose of Bulky Waste
Advance reservation is required
Collection of bulky waste requires prior reservation.
The number of items that can be disposed of on a collection day per household is up to 10 items.
If you have more than 10 items, please use separate collection days.
(Note) For collection days that exceed the allowable limit, additional changes may not be possible.
Conditions Applicable to Bulky Waste
If any of the following conditions apply, please dispose of it as bulky waste.
- One side is 50 centimeters or more
- The sum of the three sides is more than 100 centimeters
- Items weighing 5kg or more
Items that do not fall under bulky waste
- Disposal of home appliances subject to the Home Appliance Recycling Law [Air conditioners, TVs, Refrigerators (Freezers), Washing machines, Clothes dryers]
- Home Computer
- Waste that cannot be processed by the city
Please be sure to remove dry batteries, fluorescent lights, etc., and dispose of them on the designated "hazardous waste" day once a month.
Procedure for Disposing of Bulky Waste
In addition to the traditional phone reservations for bulky waste collection, we also accept reservations via the internet.
To alleviate congestion in phone reservations, please actively use the internet reservation system.
Step 1 Collection Reservation
(1) Internet Reservation

Reception hours: 24 hours a day, every day (excluding regular maintenance)
Application Procedure
- Please be sure to read the notes on the internet application page before applying.
- You can start the application by clicking the "Apply" button at the bottom of the internet reception page.
- Enter your email address and press the "Apply for Bulky Waste Collection" button, and you will receive an email with a new registration URL sent to the entered email address.
- Access the URL provided in the email and enter the applicant information, discharge location, items, and collection date.
- Please confirm that there are no errors in the information you entered on the application confirmation screen, and then proceed with your application.
- You will receive a "Completion Notification" email.
- You will receive a "Notification Email Before Collection Day" the day before the collection date.
- Please attach the bulky waste disposal ticket to the item and place the garbage at the designated disposal location.
Notice
We will notify you of applications, changes, cancellations, and notifications the day before your reservation via email.
Please ensure that you can receive emails from noreply@sodai-inagi.jp by adjusting your settings to unblock it.
This is a no-reply email, so you cannot apply, change, or cancel by replying.
(2) Phone Reservation
Please apply to the bulky waste collection center.

Reception hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and year-end/New Year holidays).
Once the application is complete, we will inform you of the collection date, the amount and number of "Inagi City bulky waste disposal tickets" required.
Please have a note ready.
- Note 1: Depending on the time of year and time of day, phone lines may be congested and difficult to connect. Please use internet reservations or try calling again at a different time.
- Note 2: Please apply by fax (042-378-9015) outside of reception hours. When applying, please clearly state (1) subject, (2) address, (3) name, (4) phone number, and (5) item, dimensions, weight, and quantity. We will respond by fax after the next business day (excluding holidays).
- Note 3: Depending on the reservation status, it may take about 2 to 4 weeks until the collection date.
Please apply with ample time in advance.
Step 2: Purchase of the Inagi City Bulky Waste Disposal Ticket
Please purchase the necessary "Inagi City bulky waste disposal tickets" at a nearby retailer, as notified upon completion of the collection reservation.
Note: For retailers, please refer to the Inagi City Website.
Step 3: Disposal of Bulky Waste
Please affix the "Inagi City Large Waste Disposal Ticket" and place it at the disposal location by the morning of the scheduled collection date.
In the name field of the large waste disposal ticket, please write your name or reception number.
- Note: The reception number is the number that will be provided by the collection reservation center upon completion of the reservation.
- Note: If you need to change or cancel the items to be collected, please be sure to contact the "Bulky Waste Reception and Collection Center" by phone by the day before the scheduled collection date.
Bulky Waste Collection Service
We provide a bulky waste collection service for households consisting of Older Adults aged 65 and over, or individuals with a physical disability of level 4 or higher, who find it difficult to take bulky waste to the designated disposal location.
