Infant medical expenses subsidy system

Updated: July 20, 2023

subject

Infants living in Inagi City and enrolled in health insurance (until the first March 31 after reaching the age of 6)

Note: There are no income limits.
Note: Households receiving public assistance, those living in facilities specified by regulations, and those entrusted to foster parents are prioritized for their respective medical expense subsidies.

In addition, those who receive the single-parent medical expense subsidy system and the mentally and physically disabled medical expense subsidy system without self-payment (those in tax-exempt households) are given priority to each medical expense subsidy system.
Note : Applicants (guardians) are parents of infants who mainly support their livelihood (those with high income).

Scope of grant

The city subsidizes the full amount of medical expenses covered by health insurance that must be borne by the individual.
Note: Expenses that are not covered by health insurance, such as health checkups, vaccinations, orthodontics, hospital meal charges, extra bed charges, additional charges for initial visits to non-referred patients at Inagi City Hospital, etc., are not covered by the subsidy.
In addition, if there are high-cost medical expenses or supplementary benefits paid by medical insurers (health insurance associations, etc.), subsidies will be provided for the amount after deducting the high-cost medical expenses and supplementary benefits from the copayment for medical treatment covered by insurance.

Grant start date

The grant eligibility will start from the first day of the month in which the application is made.
