Frustrated cooldown
Last updated: November 7, 2022
Let's prepare a cooldown method <in advance>
We all get frustrated when our kids don't listen to us.
However, if you don't have time and mental leeway, and your child's stress level is already high, your child's small actions may trigger an explosion of frustration.
The illustration below is an example of a cooldown. Prepare your own method in advance (on a regular basis, not in an emergency).
Also, if you can't control your frustration and feel like you're going to hit your child, please contact the Children and Families Support Center.

When you don't have time or heart, let's get rid of frustration well.
- take a deep breath.
- Count slowly.
- Go to the bathroom and leave for a while.
- Open the window and let the breeze in.
- wash your hands and face.
- wash the dishes
- look in the mirror
- Play your favorite music.
Talk to your friends, parents, etc. about small worries and anxieties.
