About young carers
Update date: February 29, 2024
"Young carers" are children under the age of 18 who take care of their families and do housework on a daily basis, which would normally be the responsibility of adults.
Young carers spend time caring for their families, which can have an impact on their schoolwork, but they may take this situation for granted and not realize how difficult it is.
To reduce the burden
- Those involved with the family notice the young carer.
- Introducing available welfare services, etc.
is required.
If you think that this child may be a young carer, please contact the Child and Family Support Center.
