Application for permission to use special school facilities

Students may use school facilities for social education and other public purposes to the extent that they do not interfere with school education.

Target purpose

The use of school facilities is permitted for any of the following activities.
However, political, religious, and profit-making activities and organizations cannot be used.

  1. Activities by local public resident groups such as local events held by residents' associations, etc.
  2. Activities by school-related organizations such as school PTA events
  3. Activities by child welfare facilities and social welfare facilities such as athletic meets at nursery schools and kindergartens (gatherings of guardians and staff only are not allowed)
  4. Activities by social education groups (Registered groups open to school sports facility groups, etc.)

Usage requirements

  1. [Registered for school sports facilities open to groups] Can be used twice between April and March of the following year.
  2. [Not registered for school sports facilities open to groups] Can be used as a place for occasional events. Cannot be used continuously.

Application period

Applications are made on a monthly basis, and must be submitted in the fiscal year in which the desired month of use falls. However, if you wish to use the facility during April of the following fiscal year, please submit your application by the date you wish to use the facility. In addition, reservations for "Group Use Events" begin on the 1st of the month prior to the desired month of use. If you have already confirmed your desired date, please apply early.

Usage time

8am to 9:30pm.
It includes preparation and cleanup, so if it takes time to prepare, please consider using it the day before.

Usage fee (per hour)

  • Gymnasium 510 yen
  • Schoolyard 340 yen
  • Clubhouse ¥360
  • Night lighting 870 yen
  • School gymnasium air conditioning equipment 500 yen

Note: There is a reduction or exemption for the usage fee of "gymnasium", "schoolyard" and "clubhouse". Please inquire if you wish to do so.

Application flow

1 Please check with the school you wish to use.

Please contact the school and explain the details of the event , the desired facility , date and time , and confirm whether the facility can be used for your requirements.
There have been many problems caused by "securing the schedule" and "consulting about the specific operation of the event on the day" being done at different times, so please explain the specific usage to the school as much as possible at the schedule reservation stage. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Also, please check with the school whether or not there are toilets on the school grounds, and if necessary, apply for a gymnasium at the same time.
Please note that keys are only available for the school grounds (toilets) and gymnasium, and we are unable to lend out keys to other facilities . Please also refrain from using the facility in a way that causes a burden to the school.

2 After checking with the school, submit the necessary documents for the application.

Please submit the following documents required for application to the Educational General Affairs Division window. We also accept mail.
We will review the application based on the content of the application, and if there are no problems, we will send the "Inagi City School Facilities Exceptional Use Permit" to the representative. In addition, it takes about 14 days from the submission of the application form to approval, so please apply with plenty of time.

3 On the day of use

The sports facilities at each school are locked. When you wish to use the facilities, you will need to borrow a key from the local community center or general gymnasium.
Please refer to the Inagi City School Facilities Special Use Permit and the "Guide to Use" that will be sent to the representative regarding precautions and how to borrow the key.
In addition, outside the business hours of each community center, rental and return of items are accepted at the key rental postbox installed in each community center. This postbox is locked. Please check the "Inagi City School Facility Special Use Permit" for more information.

Note: Some schools do not provide keys for school grounds. In that case, please start using the facility when the permitted time comes.

4 End of use

Please return the key to the facility where you rented it.

[Submission of diary]

  • Put the journal in the school mailbox.
  • In the unlikely event that equipment is damaged or soiled on the day of the event, please be sure to write it in your diary and report it to the city hall the next day (if the next day is a holiday, the next business day).

About cancellation of use

If you find out in advance that you will be canceling your reservation, please contact us as we will need to complete the necessary procedures. Also, please contact us even if it is canceled on the day or just before (bad weather etc.).

  • Please be sure to take your garbage home with you.
  • Please clean up the facilities you used and return them to their current state.
  • Personal belongings cannot be kept. Please be sure to take it home with you.
