Free of charge for child development support, etc.

From October 1, 2019 (Tuesday), the user burden for child development support and other services for children with disabilities aged 3 to 5 will be waived.

Free Services

• Child Development Support
• Medical Type Child Development Support
• Home Visit Type Child Development Support
• Childcare Center Home Visit Support
• Welfare Type Disability Child Residential Facility
• Medical Care Facility for Children with Disabilities

Eligible Children

The period eligible for free provision is "from the first April 1 after turning 3 years old for 3 years."

• Note: Costs other than user burden (such as Medical Expenses and current actual costs for food, etc.) will continue to be your responsibility.
• Note: If you use both Kindergarten, Childcare Center, Certified Childcare Center, etc., and the above services, both will be eligible for free of charge.

Examples of specific target individuals

Procedure

No new procedures are required for the free service.
Please confirm in advance with your disability child service provider that you are eligible for the free service by communicating your child's age, etc.
