Subsidy for Cancer Screening and Brain Dock Examination Fees

To promote and maintain health, if subscribers of the Inagi City National Health Insurance voluntarily undergo cancer screenings or brain check-ups at medical institutions, a portion of the costs incurred for those tests will be subsidized.

Eligible Persons

Those who meet all of the following conditions

1. Cancer Screening
   1. As of the date of examination, I am enrolled in the National Health Insurance.
   2. As of the date of examination, you are under 40 years old.
   3. The National Health Insurance Tax has been fully paid.

Notice: Cancer screenings for those aged 40 and over are available at the Inagi City Health Center. You can receive the screening with a cost burden of 10% to 30%. For more details, please refer to the link below.

2. Brain Dock
   1. As of the date of examination, I am enrolled in the National Health Insurance.
   2. The National Health Insurance Tax has been fully paid.

Note: There are no age restrictions for the brain dock.

Target Examination

1. Cancer Screening (Colorectal Cancer, Stomach Cancer, Breast Cancer, Cervical Cancer, Prostate Cancer)

2. Brain Dock

   Note: Examinations for which insurance is applicable and for which the full cost of the health check is not borne by the individual are not eligible for assistance.

Subsidy Amount

An amount equivalent to half of the examination fee paid by the examinee
Note: If the amount equivalent to half of the examination fee exceeds 20,000 yen, the limit is 20,000 yen.

Number of Grants

One brain dock and one cancer screening within the fiscal year (subsidy available for one time each for five items in cancer screening)

Application Method

Please bring the following items to the Insurance and Pension Division or Hirao/Wakabadai Branch Office and apply.

• Health Insurance Card
• Receipt
• Items that indicate the inspection details (such as statements)
• Documents that indicate the transfer destination (such as a bankbook)

Application Deadline

Within 2 years from the date of examination

Application Possible Date and Time

City Hall is open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on open days.
Notes: On holiday open days, hours are from 8:30 AM to noon and from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Attention: Holiday openings are only at City Hall.
