Functions of Hedges

Hedges not only increase the greenery in the area but also have the effect of absorbing noise and mitigating summer sunlight and glare. Additionally, there is no risk of collapse during an earthquake.

Asebi, Utsugi, Kaido, Doudan Tsutsuji, and others

Time for Hedge Planting

It is appropriate to create hedges during the transplanting season of seedlings.
In spring, before the new buds appear (from March to April)
Coniferous trees, deciduous broadleaf trees
In summer, when the new buds are fully developed during the rainy season (from June to July)
Evergreen broadleaf trees
In autumn, for larger seedlings (from September to October)
Coniferous trees, deciduous broadleaf trees
