Tokyo Metropolitan Welfare Community Development Ordinance
Tokyo Metropolitan Government established the Tokyo Welfare Community Development Ordinance in 1995 to realize a society where all people, including Older Adults and persons with disabilities, can live and visit safely, securely, and comfortably. Within this framework, "development standards" are set according to the classification of target facilities such as buildings, roads, parks, and public transportation facilities, requiring facility owners and managers to comply with these standards when constructing or renovating facilities.
Notification
For specific urban facilities related to new construction and renovations (buildings, roads, parks, public transportation facilities, etc., used by many people, of types and scales specified by regulations), a notification of compliance with maintenance standards must be submitted to the Community Development Planning Division of Inagi City Hall at least 30 days before the start of construction (excluding those developed by the national government, Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and municipalities). For facilities requiring building confirmation, please submit the notification prior to the building confirmation application.
Note that facilities subject to the "Barrier-Free Ordinance for Buildings" that can confirm all maintenance contents within the building confirmation application do not require notification under this ordinance.
For details on target facilities and maintenance standards, please refer to the Tokyo Metropolitan Welfare Community Development Facility Maintenance Manual.
