Famous Cherry Blossom Spot

From mid-March to early April, cherry blossoms can be viewed at various locations in the city. The main highlights are the Misawa River side path, Tama River cycling road, Omaru waterfront park, the metropolitan road ridge trunk line, and the area around the general ground.
During the same period, pears, a specialty of Inagi, will bloom with white flowers.

Inagi Peace Concert

Inagi City declared a Peace City on March 7, 1991, and holds the Inagi Peace Concert every year as an opportunity to reaffirm the importance and preciousness of peace.

Cherry Blossom and Pear Blossom Festival

The cherry blossom walkway along the Misawa River, surrounded by blooming pear flowers, will host the "Misawa River Cherry Blossom and Pear Flower Festival."

  • Venue: Inagi City Hall First Parking Lot, along the Misawa River, etc.

Sunday in early April

Tamagawa River Cleanup

We will collect and pick up empty cans and trash that have been discarded on the riverbanks and riverbeds to keep our Tamagawa beautiful.

Japan-U.S. Friendship Inagi City Citizen Golf Tournament

We will hold a charity golf tournament in cooperation with the Tokyo Inagi Tama Lions Club.

  • Eligible: Residents, workers, and students in the city
  • Venue: Tama Hills Golf Course (within the Tama Service Support Facility)

Late May to early June

Kasayato Firefly Evening in Inagi

Opening Concert

A firefly viewing event will be held at Kasayato Shinsui Park.
As an opening concert for the firefly viewing, "Kasayato Firefly Viewing Evening" will also be held.
The viewing period and precautions for that year will be posted in the Inagi Newsletter and on the city website, so please be sure to check.
