As part of Inagi City's tourism policy, the "2nd Mechanical Design Contest" was held as a collaboration project with "Yomiuriland," which will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2024. We invited designs themed around "Yomiuriland's attractions."

Out of over 100 submissions, we will exhibit the six outstanding designs that won awards at the 'Inagi Communication Base Pair Terrace.'

In addition, we are also releasing illustrations created by mechanical designer Kunio Okawara for the works that won the "Okawara Award (Children's Category)!"

Please take a look at the wonderful works.

About the Mechanic Designer Kunio Okawara Project

This project aims to create an attractive city for children and families by installing works that evoke the designs of the renowned mechanic designer Kunio Okawara, who is from Inagi City, and by holding events such as the Mechanic Designers Summit. By promoting this project, we will enhance the appeal of Inagi City, contribute to regional revitalization, promote tourism, and increase the number of residents.
