What is Rogaining?

This is a sport where you compete for points by visiting designated checkpoints within a time limit based on a map. As proof of visiting the checkpoints, a photo must be taken that includes all team members except the photographer. Since the points awarded for each checkpoint contribute to the total score, it is important to devise a strategy regarding the order in which the team visits the checkpoints.
The ability to decide the order of visiting checkpoints and the fact that it is not necessary to visit all checkpoints distinguishes it from "orienteering."

About the Rules

• Walking and running are the means of transportation, and the use of public transportation such as buses and trains is not allowed.
• Team members must always act together and cannot split up to check the checkpoints (individual participation is also possible).
• If you are late, points will be deducted.

Event Report

The "Inagi Family Rogaining" was held on February 23, 2023 (Thursday).
On the day, 52 participants joined us from both inside and outside the city.
Under clear skies, the event was very lively, with prizes awarded to the top three participants and one person receiving the Good Photo Award. Thank you to everyone who participated; you all worked hard.
