Attractive speed Finswimming World Cup Masters Prague Tournament gold, silver and bronze medals!
Mr. Aijima, who lives in Yanoguchi and is a swimming instructor, participated in the Finswimming World Cup Masters Prague tournament (Befin 29 to 34 years old class) held in June 2016, and won the 50m bronze, 100m silver, and relay (team). Won 3 gold medals.
Finswimming is the sport of swimming with fins. The beef fin that Mr. Aijima participated in is an event in which he swims with a fin on each leg, which is about 3 seconds faster than swimming at 50 meters.
Mr. Aijima started fin swimming after being invited by a member of the Masters swimming team to which he belongs. Since he has been swimming competitively since he was young, he struggles with differences from competitive swimming, such as how to use his ankles, but he is fascinated by the speed of fin swimming and continues to practice.
When asked about her goals, she said, "I have to pass the Japan qualifiers, but the World Cup Masters tournament is held every year, so I want to participate next year as well. I've just started finswimming, so I think there's still room for improvement, so I'm aiming for a gold medal in all events." I want to," he said.
Let's support Mr. Aijima, who is aiming for the top of the world and practicing every day.
