Peace Mayors Conference Tokyo Tama Region Peace Network
The Peace Mayors Conference Tokyo Tama Region Peace Network consists of 26 cities that are member cities of the Peace Mayors Conference in the Tokyo Tama region. The Peace Mayors Conference has set a new goal of promoting "peace culture" in its action plan (PX Vision) until 2025. The 26 cities in Tama aim to promote peace culture by fostering an awareness among each citizen to think about and act for peace in their daily lives. This is achieved by forming an inter-municipal network in the Tokyo Tama region, facilitating mutual information sharing and exchange among municipalities, with the goal of enhancing the promotion of peace culture throughout the entire Tama region.
Declaration
We, the Peace Mayors Conference Tokyo Tama Region Peace Network, declare our commitment to jointly work towards the promotion of a "peace culture" as outlined in the Peace Mayors Conference's vision for "peaceful transformation towards a sustainable world."

2. We will share and inherit the realities of war and atomic bombings, nurturing the bearers of the "peace culture."
3. To establish a peace culture worldwide and achieve global permanent peace, the municipalities of the Tokyo Tama Region will collaborate in promoting the "peace culture" and will communicate these efforts both domestically and internationally.

Peace initiatives implemented by each city
We will share and disseminate information among the 26 cities in the Tama region, aiming for citizens to mutually participate in peace initiatives and visit historical sites.
[Hino City] Peace Gathering: Connecting to the Future, Hino City's Declaration for Nuclear Weapons Abolition and Peace City
A lecture on the origins of the Peace Declaration, along with the first-ever graphic recording in Hino City, will provide an easy-to-understand explanation of the lecture content for children simultaneously. About 40 years ago, amidst the global spread of nuclear armament, the Peace Declaration wishing for global permanent peace and a peaceful daily life was born in Hino City. Let's touch upon the timeless wishes for peace of the citizens of Hino City at that time and think about peace together.
(Note) Graphic recording is a method that deepens understanding and empathy by capturing and illustrating not only what is spoken but also thoughts and emotions that have not yet been verbalized.
[Hachioji City] 39th Peace Exhibition - Feelings I Want to Convey to Children
The 39th Peace Exhibition "Feelings I Want to Convey to Children" will be held at three venues in Hachioji City. Please come and take this opportunity to think about peace again.

"Are you okay with this world where there is war?"
This is the catchphrase for this peace exhibition, conceived by high school students who have served as dispatchers for the Tama City Children's Atomic Bomb Victims Dispatch Project.
The theme of this peace exhibition is "How can we pass on peace to the generation that does not know war?" Through various forms of expression such as film screenings, artistic works, pantomime, and children's essays, we will convey the importance of living in peace every day.
Additionally, we will distribute a workbook titled "Let's Draw Peace with Keith Haring" to children who visit during the limited period and quantity.
Please come to the peace exhibition to see, hear, and feel it for yourself.
